An Australian brand is enjoying global success after supermodel Kendall Jenner posted about her 'love story' with their swimwear.

Kendall posted on Instagram to share a series of pictures featuring a baroque-print bikini from the Australian label Sommer Swim, and it wasn't long before the $168 style was being snapped up around the world.

While Kendall chose to wear the Xena Baroque Halter Top ($104) in a bandeau style, the bikini is designed to also be worn around the neck as a halter-style.

Kendall often wears swimwear that costs around $500, but the beauty of Sommer Swim is that styles start from just $89 for a bikini top and $79 for bottoms.

You can also find an array of stylish one pieces for around the $149 mark.

Sommer Swim has become a favourite brand for a host of well-known celebrities over the years.

Some of these include Kourtney Kardashian, Sofia Richie, Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski, who made the label go global when she wore the Gisele top and Iman bottoms on the beach in 2017.

The brand was founded by Anna-Maria Sommer (pictured), 36, who said the 'timeless swimwear can take you from lounging poolside at a beach club in Ibiza one summer to swimming in the ocean at Sydney's Bondi Beach the next'

The brand was founded by the Bali-based woman, Anna-Maria Sommer, 36, who said the 'timeless swimwear can take you from lounging poolside at a beach club in Ibiza one summer to swimming in the ocean at Sydney's Bondi Beach the next'.

'I didn't immediately set out to start a swimwear label, I guess it more just progressed to that,' Anna-Maria previously told FEMAIL.

'Living in a creative place like Bali really inspired me and I began to explore different ideas. I was playing around with designing some suits but in the first year it was more of a hobby and I didn't take it too seriously.

'In the second year I felt a little more comfortable and rather than designing what I thought other people wanted to wear I came up with suits I wanted to wear myself and I was a little surprised and also flattered that this was when things really started to take off.'

What sets Sommer Swim bikinis and swimsuits apart from the plethora of swimwear available is the fact that the brand uses the highest quality Italian Lycra to make their designs

These days, the brand is worth well over $1 million and Anna-Maria said: 'The brand's net worth is sitting in seven figures which is really humbling and just motivates us more as a team to keep improving and bringing our customers new and exciting products'.
