Women passengers to get free ride on March 8

PUNE: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has decided to give free ride to all women passengers travelling in Tejaswini bus on International Women’s Day on March 8.

Speaking on this, PMPML spokesperson Priyanka Sonawane said, “On the occasion of International Women’s’ Day, women travelling in Tejaswini bus plying in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad can avail a free ride. There will be no charge for them on that day.” Henceforth, the administration has decided to provide free-ride on the 8th of every month, added Sonawane.
