ATS questions 12 from Bengal on suspicion of being outsiders

Nagpur: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) on Tuesday questioned 12 persons at Pachpaoli police station for almost six hours on suspicion of they being not from India. They were allowed to go after the ATS verified their identities by speaking to the police in Bengal’s Nandigram from where they hailed from.
According to sources, Pachpaoli police spotted a suspicious man at Balabhaupeth area on Monday night. On being questioned, the man informed that he stays at a rented place along with a few others.
The cops then brought the man and his 11 room mates to the police station. ATS officials and anti-terrorist cell were informed about them.
They told the police that they worked in a garment company were residents of Nandigram. After confirming this, they were allowed to go.
