Such instructions have been given by the Neeraj Kumar Pawan, Government Secretary, Department of Labor while presiding over the meeting of the Minimum Wages Advisory Board held at the Conference of Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation of Rajasthan.

During this, Neeraj Kumar said that the process of raising the minimum wage of workers in the state at par with the border states of the state should exceed Rs 300.

After deliberations in the meeting, Chairman of the Advisory Board, Dr. Pawan said that the process of making minimum wage rates in Rajasthan equivalent to neighboring states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, etc. should be initiated.

At the same time, he talked about setting separate rates for Bharatpur and Alwar districts included in NCR. He has directed to initiate the process of fixing the minimum wages of unskilled laborers from Rs 225 to Rs 300 per day. He has directed the new rates to be implemented from May 1, 2019.
