NOIDA: A day after five men were arrested for allegedly honeytrapping 10 people after luring them on a

app, police said that one more victim has come forward.
DCP (central Noida) Harish Chander said a 32-year-old private company executive approached them with his complaint and “he too has identified the gang of five”. “He shared his ordeal saying he was looted of around Rs 40,000 in cash and Rs 10,000 via Paytm withdrawals in February, but he did not complain due to the stigma attached.”
Meanwhile, investigation has revealed that the two senior corporate executives who were recently looted by the gang had settled a deal with one of the accused for having group sex with the duo, police said.
Police said the main accused, Ajay Sharma, had contacted one of their two latest victims through the app and settled a deal for having sexual relations with him as well as his friend. While Ajay first entered the house of the victim, the remaining four followed and overpowered the duo, looting them of cash and belongings.
According to the cops, the duo first hid the fact that they had called Ajay to their home and only complained about themselves getting looted. “However, it was later found that the one of the victims had an ID on the app through which he came into contact with Ajay who came to his house around 10.45 pm on February 27,” a police official said.
Phase III SHO Devendra Singh said that they got to know of three such cases now, which have taken place using this modus operandi. “The accused were also providing home services after which they would resort to looting the victims,” he said.
