BayCoast Bank announced the promotions of Jessica R. Carvalho and Stephanie Melo Terra to training and development officer and credit analyst II officer, respectively.

In her role as training and development officer, Jessica Carvalho directs the design, planning and implementation of corporate training programs, policies and procedures. Prior to her promotion, she held the title of senior training and development specialist.

Carvalho began her career with BayCoast Bank as a part-time teller in July of 2007 and has consistently been promoted; this latest elevation stands as her sixth since joining the bank. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from New England College of Business. She is a certified training manager/director having received her certificate through Langevin Learning Services.

A resident of Fall River, Carvalho is a SMILES Program mentor and an active member and volunteer at St. Michael’s Parish and School.

In her role as credit analyst II officer, Terra is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial information of companies applying for credit or loans. Prior to her promotion, Terra, who joined BayCoast Bank in September of 2017, held the title of credit analyst I officer. She holds an associate’s degree in business administration/commercial lending from New England College of Finance and is presently enrolled at New England College of Business pursuing a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance.

Terra is a resident of Westport and a member of the Westport Junior/Senior High School PTO.
