The Republic of Tajikistan has prohibited the air travel of all nationals of 35 countries including the UK, many European countries, most of Asia, India and the U.S
The Civil Aviation Agency of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has prohibited the air travel of all nationals of 35 countries including the United Kingdom, U.S, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore , Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Finland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Israel, Austria, Croatia, Sweden, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Iran, Libya, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Afghanistan, Iraq and Algeria.
The government says that it is a “temporary preventative measure” that “will remain in force until further notice”.
All tickets have been removed from sale, and “all inbound airline tickets sold prior to the issuance of this decree shall be fully refunded to the affected passengers”.
“Non-compliance with this shall result in the passenger being denied boarding and a penalty to the issuing travel agent”.
