Will check legal validity of Muslim reservation: Uddhav Thackeray

MUMBAI: Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has clarified that no decision has been taken on Muslim reservation yet. “There is no proposal regarding Muslim reservation before the government. The state government will check the legal validity about the reservation.” He also lashed out to critics saying that ‘they’ should not waste their energy.
Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the state have decided to form a committee comprising three party leaders (Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress) to study national population register (NPR) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) issue. “The committee of senior leaders of all three parties will study the issues,” said Thackeray.
While reacting to a question over recent Delhi violence the CM said, “People are aware enough to know who are behind the Delhi riots.”
Thackeray said that he planned to visit temple town, Ayodhya on March 7. “I am visiting Ayodhya to seek blessings of Lord Rama. Whoever wants can join us,” said CM Thackeray.
