An 18-year-old man allegedly hanged himself from the ceiling at his house in Khatoli town here due to depression, police said on Tuesday.

The man, identified as Lakki, allegedly took the extreme step on Monday. A suicide note was also found, they said.

Station House Officer Santosh Kumar Tyagi said police are investigating the matter.
