MARGAO: The Margao town police on Monday arrested 21-year old Sahil Kanvi, a native of Hubballi, after he was allegedly found to be in possession of ganja.
Police sources said that 100g of ganja worth Rs 10,000 was recovered from the youth. He was nabbed from near the municipal garden, Margao, on Monday afternoon. The accused was residing at Azad nagar, Margao.
He was arrested under provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act.
