True leader would be focussed on averting Coronavirus crisis: Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: A day after two people were diagnosed with Coronavirus, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday underlined the urgency to prioritise safeguarding people from the outbreak which has killed 3,000 people worldwide.
In a tweet, Gandhi said that such crisis is a test for leaders and all the focus of a 'good leader' should be on on averting the massive crisis looming over people and economy.

On Monday, two new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in India. One patient was reported from Delhi who had recently travelled to Italy and the second patient was reported from Telangana who had returned from Dubai.
Ripple effect of the patient diagnosed with COVID-19 in Delhi has already resulted in shutting down of two schools in Noida on Tuesday. The airline staff which was onboard the flight in which the two patients travelled to India undetected, have been asked to stay at home for 14 days and take due precautions.
On Monday, Union health minister Harsh Vardhan had announced that the government is holding discussions across ministries and states to ensure preparedness.
