Three held in Kolkata for ‘goli maaro’ slogan

KOLKATA: Three BJP workers were arrested on Monday for using the “goli maaro” hate-slogan against anti-CAA protesters en route to Union home minister Amit Shah’s rally in Kolkata the day before.
Two of them were remanded in two-day police custody; the third, a 71-year-old RSS functionary, has been granted bail. Police said video footage of the procession was analysed, and the people shouting the threatening slogans were identified.
