Do you know about the 3 L\'s of leadership?

The sixth President of the United States John Quincy Adams had once said, "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." This statement defines a leader so well and at the same time distinguishes a leader from a boss. Every leader can make a capable boss but not all boss can become a leader, right? In this age of cut-throat competition, it's very important to have leadership qualities if you want to grow professionally. In an office or any business establishment, people always look up to a person who can lead and show them the right path during a crisis. Also, their advice or counsel is much appreciated by the people around them. While a boss might blindly drive people to achieve their goals and complete projects on time, a leader would encourage people to do the same work but enjoy, learn and grow while doing the same. While leadership is a desirable quality, what many might not know is there are three "L's" that fuel true leadership. These three qualities are—Love Listen and Leap.
Love is the first "L" in leadership
The first "L" of leadership is love, a quality that most leaders might not be very comfortable with. By love we do not mean a leader have to shower love on all his people but it also donated appreciating and care. Love is a very strong quality that can unite people in a team, help build cultures, teach people to trust each other and unites people in a organisation in a strong bond. When a leader appreciates his people, it helps encourage them to work harder and better. A little kindness or love can go a long way to make people better and more productive employees.

Listen is the second "L" in leadership We all know that good leaders make good orators; they give great speeches that draw people in millions towards them. But there is another skill or quality that is more powerful than spoken words? Effective listening. When a leader listens to his people, it drives home the message that there is someone whom you can reach out to, who is listening to all your problems and will give you a solution after taking note of them. A good leader always encourages people to open up and speak their mind. And while they listen to what people are telling them, leaders never shut them up or interrupt to force their views.

Leap is the third "L's" in leadership
While good leaders always listen and care about their people, a great leader knows when to take a leap to lead people during a time of crisis or towards the light through a dark tunnel. While love and listening can bring them closer to people, it's their courage to take a leap when needed that gives them an edge and distinguishes them from managers and bosses in the office.
