A porn star who wanted to take a selfie got more than he bargained for when an angry monkey smacked him.
Woody Fox shared a short clip of his animal encounter on Twitter, saying that it happened while he was on holiday in Bali.
The Australian is seen smiling in the video and positioning himself to get the perfect angle while the monkey snacks on some bread next to him.
However, Woody then looks at the monkey and the pair make eye contact, causing the animal to lash out and grab at his arm.
The shot is ruined as the porn star is knocked away from his selfie perch and shouts at the unexpected move.
Sharing the clip with his 95,500 followers, he wrote: 'Porn star @TheOnlyWoodyFox looses face in Bali monkey attack.'
Dozens of people replied to the post, with one writing: 'You're not suppose to show your teeth to the monkey... they see it as a threat.'

While others said Woody shouldn't have looked at the monkey as they can be spooked by eye contact.
Someone commented 'never suppose to look at them in the eyes' and another added 'it’s cuz u flashed your canine teeth and made direct eye contact LOL'.
However others of Woody's followers said he was 'lucky' not to have been injured badly and checked he was ok.

Woody appeared to quickly recover from the surprise and shared another clip of him doing a handstand while a monkey watched on just two days later.
Monkeys can be territorial in Bali and act aggressively if they feel threatened. New Zealand company Southern Cross Travel Insurance has recommended ways to keep on their good side.
Their website recommends: 'Don’t smile at them [the monkeys]. Showing teeth is a sign of aggression in primates and can be seen as a threat.'
