Man who died in Kochi tests -ve for Covid-19

KOCHI: The 36-year-old man who died at the isolation ward at the Government Medical College, Ernakulam, on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, was tested negative for Covid-19, as per the test reports received on Sunday from National Institute of Virology, Pune.
The body was handed over to his kin on Sunday evening. The patient had arrived at Cochin International Airport on Thursday from Malaysia and was sent to the isolation ward on Friday . It was later revealed he had pneumonia.
