Under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Narendra Modi government, about 55 lakh beneficiaries will be benefited.
In a special campaign conducted by the Union Ministry of Agriculture, about 55 lakh beneficiaries of this scheme have applied for Kisan Credit Card. The deadline for this campaign is going to end on Sunday.
Under this scheme of the Central Government, all the farmers who have applied now will be able to get loans of up to Rs 3 lakh at an interest rate of only four percent.
Giving information, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary said that on completion of one year of the Samman Nidhi scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Kisan Credit Card will be distributed in the program organized in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh today.
The Union Minister also informed that today the work of giving KCC to 20 thousand bank branches in the country will also be done.
