Businessman lost Rs 1.40 Lakh to fraudsters
Sambhav Jail of Kitchlu Nagar said some unidentified accused in have withdrawn Rs 1.40 lakh from ATM in June 2019 in six transactions. He lodged a compliant with cyber cell of Ludhiana police against it in July 2019. Following inquiry, the PAU police have registered a case against unidentified accused in this matter.
Fraud travel agents booked
On the compliant of Inderpreet Singh of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Brota Road, the Shimalpuri police have booked Sukhwinder Singh and his wife Sukhpreet Kaur of Roopnagar for duping him of Rs 1.64 Lakh on pretext of sending him to Canada. A case has been registered against them following inquiry.
