VADODARA: Special operations group (SOG) busted a prostitution racket on Sunday and arrested six people from J P Road area. The cops acted on a tip-off and raided two different spots on J P Road and near Akshar Chowk they found the six agents involved in the racket.
Police have also rescued four women involved in the racket. While three of them are from other states, one is from Gujarat. According to the police, the accused used to run sex racket through a website Highest Standard Call Girl Escort Service and Oklute. The clients, who visited the website, were sent phone numbers. And later, photos of the girls were used to be sent on Whatsapp of the client.
Those arrested have been identified as Nitin Vala, resident of Amreli; Sandip Kumar, resident of Delhi; Arjan Singh, a resident of Madhya Pradesh; Chirag Dudhat, resident of Ahmedabad; Sanjay Chakravarti, resident of Mahisagar and Vinod Patel, resident of Surat. The cops have also seized six mobile phones and a two-wheeler along with some cash from the accused. An offence has been registered at Gotri police station against the six people.
