CHENNAI: Politicians including Rahul Gandhi and actor Kamal Haasan extended birthday greetings to DMK president M K Stalin, who turned 67 on Sunday. “My best wishes to @mkstalin on his birthday. May he be blessed with good health and happiness always,” former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.
Kamal Haasan tweeted in Tamil saying, “Birthday wishes to my loving brother @mkstalin. My hearty wishes for your voice to resonate for the people of the state for many days and against injustice happening in Tamil Nadu.”
Puducherry chief minister V Narayaswamy and VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan were among other leaders who extended their wishes to Stalin.
DMK south Chennai unit organized a job camp in which around 100 companies were said to have participated and recruited youngsters. DMK youth wing leader Udhayanidhi Stalin was the chief guest and gave away recruitment orders, besides distributing welfare measures to the needy.
