Considering the imperative of computer education for school children, the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has created a separate cadre of computer teachers under this year's budget announcement.

Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara has given this information in response to supplementary questions asked in this regard on Thursday. During this, he said that till now there is no cadre of computer teachers in the state, this subject is taught by other trained teachers.

In the Question Hour, Dotasara said that students of any faculty can take computer subjects in class 11, but this was not possible due to no cadre of computer teacher. Now, after the creation of a new cadre of computer teachers under the budget announcement, students of class 11 will also be able to take computer subjects. This step of the government will benefit the school students a lot. They will know about computers at the school level.
