Noida: Man molests wife’s friend, held

GREATER NOIDA: A man in his late twenties was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly molesting his wife’s friend in his house at Bisrakh.
The arrested person has been identified as Gurdeep Singh, who stays with his wife in a housing society.
The complainant has said that on Wednesday her friend, who is pregnant, called her and asked her to come to her house as her husband was not around. “We were talking when her husband also came in. After sometime, I went inside the kitchen to get something where he tried to force himself on me and started touching me inappropriately, I somehow pushed him aside and shouted at him,” the woman stated in a police complaint.
The woman also alleged that Gurdeep threatened to send some goons to rape her.
“He refuted all allegations. But his wife testified against him. He was sent to jail on Thursday,” said senior sub-inspector at Bisrakh police station, Rishipal Singh.
