Class XII students too find English paper easy

Ludhiana: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class XII English exam on Thursday. The exam started at 10.30am, but before that, students were given the question papers at 10.15am to read the paper thoroughly. The exam concluded at 1.30pm.
Expert analysis, along with the student feedback, revealed it was an easy paper. However, a few students found the long answer questions in literature a little difficult. Kiran Saini, teacher from BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, said, “It was good, and all the students attempted the paper well. They completed it in time, and the paper’s toughness level was average. The paper was of 80 marks, and 20 marks for listening and speaking skills. A question in the debate section was tricky. The topic was ‘No detention policy up to Class VIII’. Therefore, most students attempted the other question on written speech, which was ‘Each One, Teach One’.
Aditya Saini, a student of BCM Arya Model School, who appeared for the exam in Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), Sarabha Nagar, said, “I attempted the questions in a sequence. The writing section was easy. When I did not understand a question, I chose the other option which was easier. In the writing section, I needed to think of ideas, which consumed a lot of time, but I completed the exam on time. In literature, nothing was tricky. All the long questions were easy, and options made it easier. I am expecting above 70 in this exam.”
Rishav Kumar from New GMT School, who appeared at GGN School near Rose Garden, said, “The English exam was easy, and not at all lengthy.” Gomsy Chadda, a student of Class XII Commerce from Kundan Vidya Mandir (KVM), said, “The exam was easy, but as it was lengthy, I could not manage my time.” Another student of GGN School, Simreet Kaur, also a school captain pursuing the Commerce stream in Class XII, said, “It was very easy, as there were a variety of questions, and most of the questions were from sample papers.” Ishika Soni, a student of Class XII at KVM said, “Most of the questions were from the sample papers of previous years and practice books.”
