Lady Gaga has released her first new music since 2017's The Cure, in the form of a new single and video titled Stupid Love.
The song harkens back to her more famous hits like Telephone and Alejandro in structure and genre while the music video offers a look at a Power Rangers-like world where the award-winning artist begs for unity.
Stupid Love was filmed on an iPhone and the singer – whose birth name is Stefani Germanotta – posted a teaser on Twitter on Thursday, which quickly went viral.
The song was infamously leaked earlier this year, to which Gaga responded in a good-natured way, posting a stock image of someone listening to music in a ski mask with the caption, "Can y'all stop (sic)".

Seemingly in reference to the music video, shortly before it's release on Friday morning, Lady Gaga tweeted "earth is cancelled (sic)".
