MUMBAI: Reiterating that "no illegal structure will be tolerated in the name of religion even for a minute", the Bombay HC on Thursday directed BMC to inspect the temple at an SRA project site in Ghatkopar and if found to be illegal, raze it.
Justice Gautam Patel also directed BMC advocate Sagar Patil to submit a compliance report on March 5. "Will not permit the respondent (housing society) to put up the temple illegally...There will be no such construction without BMC permission," the HC said.
