HYDERABAD: Three children died, while another is injured after a wall collapsed inside their house in Habeeb Nagar area late on Thursday night.
The victims, Roshni, (6), Pavani, (2 months), and Saarika, (4), along with another sibling, Geetha (2) were asleep when the wall came crashing down.
While three sisters died on the spot, Geetha escaped with injuries on her hand and head. "The wall was a partition between the bathroom and the hall. The parents of the children, Seema and Meethalal, were sleeping outside the house. They escaped with no injuries. The bodies of the children were shifted to Osmania General Hospital, while the injured child has been undergoing treatment in the same hospital," said Habeeb Nagar police.
A case of suspicious death was registered.
