Wheels24 reader Kelvin Erasmus says: "I have a 2005 Ford Fiesta Duratech. The vehicle is revving very high when I start it up (3000rpm). However after a couple of seconds the revs would come done to about 1200 rpm and would stay there.
"Also, whenever I drive the car and come to a stop, the car stalls every time. I have been taken this to a mechanic but still the problems persist. Please help."
Wheels24's Janine Van der Post says: "It sounds like a timing issue, or your plugs might not have been 'gapped' correctly. Perhaps get a second opinion from a different workshop or mechanic since the problem has not been solved.
