JAIPUR: Over 2 lakh employees including block development officers (BDOs), patwaris, gram sevaks, animal husbandry department officials in all the districts of
Rajasthan will be on strike on Thursday.
They will be holding demonstrations outside district collectorates against delay in payment of salaries, salary cut and delay in filling vacant posts in various departments, bringing back the old pension scheme, to make contractual employees permanent and downsizing of government departments.
"In 2013, Gehlot government had revised the pay scale of the employees. The last BJP government withdrew this move of the previous government and reduced the pay scale," said
