Inter-college cultural fest Symbhav 2020 starts from Feb 28
A conclave will be conducted on February 29 on the theme 'internationalization of Indian legal system' and it will have a legal panel discussion-cum-interactive session.

PUNE: The Symbiosis Law School has organized the 12th edition of its inter-college annual cultural festival called Symbhav 20 from February 28 to March 1. The theme for this edition of the festival is 'Quantum Leap to the Future', which shall encapsulate the essence of a new beginning for humanity, in a multi-fold manner, a statement issued by the law school said.
A conclave will be conducted on February 29 on the theme 'internationalization of Indian legal system' and it will have a legal panel discussion-cum-interactive session. The platform aims to encourage discussion on new ideas and themes, and facilitate an exchange of thoughts between the youth and eminent legal personalities including judges of the Supreme Court of India, senior advocates among others.
The chief guest for the conclave, Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, judge, Supreme Court of India, will be accompanied on the panel by Justice Abhilasha Kumari, judicial member, Lokpal Committee among others.
Another landmark segment of the fest will be the law theatre 2020 : GendaPhool, which shall have over 30 participants from various batches of the law school. SLS, Pune will conduct its annual legal play at Symbiosis Viman Nagar Campus Auditorium (SVC Auditorium) on February 29.
This year's play, 'GendaPhool' is directed by Anindya Shankar Das, an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India. The theme of the play is unconstitutionality of marital rape, and aims to throw light on the exception that is provided under the offence of rape to marital relations.
Shashikala Gurpur, director, SLS conceptualized the idea of Symbhav and since its inception, Symbhav has been implemented under her guidance.
