Dark Times Ahead for All-New 2021 Toyota Tundra Nightshade

This is the time of year when we start learning more about each auto manufacturer’s next model year lineup, whether it is new trim levels, a refreshed model, or a completely redesigned one. Toyota recently rolled out 7 new members of its fleet. This includes an exciting Highlander XSE, along with practical Trail Special Editions for Tacoma, 4Runner and Tundra.

Tundra, Sequoia and Tacoma are also launching their own unique Nightshade versions, which should arrive at local dealerships late summer to early fall of 2020. The 2021 Tundra seems particularly interesting.

Tell us more about 2021 Tundra Nightshade

Unlike the 2021 Tundra Trail, its Nightshade entry will be based on the luxurious Limited trim level. Expect similar features, buttons and controls that are found in Tundra Limited, but with a dark atmosphere to go along with it. It will be offered in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, providing versatility for potential buyers.

Tundra Nightshade, like the popular 4Runner Nightshade, will feature darkened accents throughout both the exterior and interior. Look for black leather seating to set the mood inside the cabin.

Exterior highlights will be black wheels that are more than likely 20”, since this is the size of 2020 Tundra Limited wheels. Also plan to see 2021 Tundra Nightshade with a darkened chrome grille, as well as black door handles, side mirror caps and exhaust tip.

Join the Toyota Nightshade club

When the 2021 Tundra Nightshade reaches dealerships later this summer, it will join a prestigious club of Nightshade members. Already available are Toyota Nightshade Camry, Corolla sedan, Corolla Hatchback, 4Runner and Sienna. With this new class, this brings the total number to 8 Toyota Nightshade models. Nothing like adding a strong edge to fit a very distinct personality.

Time for your thoughts on 2021 Tundra Nightshade

This is an exciting time to be a fan of Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs. In addition to all the new trim levels being introduced in rapid fashion, Toyota has refreshed many of their most popular favorites, including 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra. Also, Toyota plans to offer a hybrid / alternative fuel option for every one of their vehicles within the next 5 or so years.
