Kaamyaab actor Deepak Dobriyal's role loosely inspired by casting agent Mukesh Chhabra.
Hardik Mehta's story of a once-famous side actor and a casting agent is set to hit screens on March 6. While Sanjay Mishra plays the protagonist named Sudheer in Kaamyaab, we hear that Deepak Dobriyal's role is inspired from Bollywood's casting agent, Mukesh Chhabra.
A source says, "Deepak's character will have shades of Mukesh Chhabra. In fact, his [part] is loosely based on Mukesh's real life. The makers have integrated bits of his story [in the film]."

The first look of the movie, which is being backed by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, was unveiled in January. The film aims to portray the hardships faced by struggling actors in Indian cinema. Recently, leading man Mishra reportedly quelled rumours of Khan featuring in a cameo in the film.
