Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha's constant dodge from wedding rumours have been making headlines for quite some time. The latest news is that Ali actually went down on his knee for his ladylove in the Maldives and she instantly said yes.

A source told Bombay Times that the couple is looking at getting married by the third week of April. April 15 is one of the options for the big day, revealed the source. Richa and Ali met on the sets of 'Fukrey' in 2012 and their friendship grew over the years.

"The question was never ‘would they’ but ‘when would they’ get married?," said the source, adding, "The wedding will happen in Delhi among close family and friends. The festivities will go on for two days. There will also be a party for their Bollywood friends in Mumbai after that."

Revealing that the wedding would either be by the sea or in an experiential venue, the source added, "Ali and Richa are going to go quirky with their wedding, owing to their personalities. The duo is working round the clock with their teams for interesting, unconventional venues and celebration ideas."
