Quaden Bayles has hit back at the cruel trolls spreading wild conspiracy theories about his age with a cheeky social media post.

'Guess how old I am in this pic?' the nine-year-old wrote, alongside a photoshopped picture showing him decked out in designer gear.

His face was cut and pasted onto a man's body, wearing a Gucci tracksuit and matching cap.

Quaden became a global sensation after his mother started an anti-bullying campaign, which began with a viral video of the youngster saying he wanted to die after being bullied at school.

His devastating response to the school bullies pulled at heartstrings across the world.

But Quaden's cruel bullies soon moved online, spreading disinformation about his age and background - with some claiming he was secretly 18.

One post circulating on Twitter said his high-profile Instagram page and lucrative modelling career were proof he 'scammed everybody'.

The accuser also pointed to a photo of Quaden at an 18th birthday party, saying the celebrations were for him - when it was in fact a friend's bash.

While trolls continue to spread rumours, Quaden has received an outpouring of international support, including from Hugh Jackman and comedian Brad Williams.

Williams, who also has dwarfism, created a fundraiser for Quaden after hearing the upsetting news that he was bullied at school.

Money raised will be used to bring Quaden and his mother for a holiday in Disneyland California, while all the excess funds will be given to anti-bullying charities.

So far it has raised more than $700,000 (US $473,000).

Quaden's mother Yarraka shared the distressing video which sparked the outpouring of support after picking her son up from school earlier this month.

The schoolboy, who has achondroplasia - the most common type of dwarfism - told his mother: 'Give me a rope, I want to kill myself.'

In the video, which has been viewed more than three million times, Quaden also said: 'I just want to stab myself in the heart... I want someone to kill me.'

The distressed youngster then clutched at his neck and said: 'I want to die... I want to scratch myself.'

He has since led the Indigenous All-Stars out onto the field in their rugby league clash with the Maori All Stars in Queensland on Saturday.

The rumours about his age have been accompanied in recent days by trolls creating social media accounts in an attempt to profit from his bullying.

On Saturday, Quaden's Instagram account 'Quadosss' warned his 226,000 followers  fake social media accounts claiming to be him and trying to take advantage of his situation were being created.

'WARNING!!!! FAKE ACCOUNTS! PLEASE REPORT ASAP!' Quaden's account posted to Instagram, along with a screenshot of a fake Twitter account using his name.

One of the fake accounts has pictures of Quaden and urges followers to 'pay my GoFundMe' and has a link to donate.

One Instagram photo of the nine-year-old was subtly cropped by his accusers showing him appearing to drink wine with his mother.

In fact, a bottle of Appletiser was sitting on a table next to him - proving his beverage was sparkling apple juice.

Luckily, Quaden is still receiving an outpouring of support from people and brands across the world, and has even been treated to a VIP makeover.

He received a free haircut at a top salon, and a wardrobe overhaul from Australian brand Culture Kings.

Quaden has been invited on a number of global trips and experiences, including Disneyland in California, courtside tickets to an NBA game and an offer to attend a mixed martial arts masterclass in Singapore.

After learning that Quaden was an NBA fan, the Houston Rockets basketball team invited him to sit court side at one of their games in Texas.

'Cool shirt, Quaden! We're on your team. We'd like to invite you to Houston to come to a game when you visit the U.S,' the team posted, along with a photo of Quaden wearing a Houston Rockets t-shirt.

Martial arts champion and ONE Championship founder Chatri Sityodtong, 49, also offered to fly Quaden and his family on an all-expenses paid trip to Singapore.

Among his many celebrity supporters was The Greatest Showman star Jackman, who told the schoolboy he would 'always be his friend'.

The Les Misérables star also sent a powerful message to Quaden's bullies, saying that 'life is hard enough' without people going out of their way to upset others.

'Quaden, you are stronger than you know, mate,' Hugh said in a video shared with his 14 million Twitter followers.

'I'm setting up this GoFundMe to let Quaden know that bullying will not be tolerated, and that he is a wonderful human being who deserves joy,' Williams wrote on the GoFundMe page
