Seven mile queues
There are very long delays on the A55. Queues stretch from Abergele to Colwyn Bay - a distance of around seven miles.

It looks like another ambulance is on the way to the scene.

Police have warned of long delays due to the collision.
Please be aware there are long delays on the A55 between Llanddulas and Colwyn Bay travelling eastbound due to a multi vehicle collision. Emergency services are on the scene.
Long delays
There are very long delays on the A55 following the accident. Traffic is moving but very slowly.
At least three cars involved
One witness tells me that there are at least three cars involved - but possibly five.
There is a red car which has hit the central reservation barrier. There are lots of firefighters surrounding that car. There are also two other cars which are badly damaged. Two cars are also on the hard shoulder but it’s not clear if they are involved too or have just pulled over to help.
Firefighters at the scene
A fire engine is at the scene we are told. Fire crews appear to be focusing their attention on a car which has hit the central reservation barrier.
