11 SRP men injured in bus accident

Vadodara: Eleven state reserve police (SRP) personnel returning from Ahmedabad to Godhra after attending the ‘Namaste Trump’ event duties were injured when the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Timbi Patia near Godhra on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place when the front tyre of the bus burst and the driver lost control and hit the divider on the highway. The bus turned over injuring the people inside it.
Two other buses carrying SRP jawans were following the bus that met with the accident. They rushed to the aid of their colleagues on reaching the spot and ensured that they reached the Godhra Civil Hospital.
The 11 injured jawans included three who broke their limbs, while the others received fractures and were taken to the SSG Hospital at Vadodara for treatment.
