PU students can now check answerscripts of toppers

MYSURU: After the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, the Pre-University Education department has decided to upload answerscripts of students who secured highest marks in last year's II PU final examination. As per students' request, the department uploaded 36 answerscripts of students who secured full marks.
PU department director M Kanagavalli said the answerscripts were uploaded after students, in a phone-in with primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar, said they wanted to check the answerscripts of top scorers. The answerscripts of arts, commerce and science toppers are available on pue.kar.nic.in.
"The answers will give students a fair idea on how to score well. All these years, only SSLC top scorers' answerscripts were available," he said, adding, "Several students scored full marks. Among them, the best answerscripts have been uploaded."
For students, it will be a new experience to check the answersheets. "All these years, we were only hearing about toppers' performance. Now we can see how they wrote the examination. It will help us do well in the final exam, which is crucial to secure admission for many professional courses," said Vidyashri, a student.
