AR Rahman and Vikas Khanna posted pictures on Instagram from the Rashtrapati Bhavan dinner with Donald Trump.

Musician AR Rahman and chef Vikas Khanna attended the banquet dinner hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind in honour of US President Donald Trump at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on February 25. Both Rahman and Vikas interacted with Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the event and also posed for pictures with dignitaries.

In fact, Vikas and Rahman also shared a set of pictures each from the dinner on Instagram, much to the delight of their fans and followers. While Vikas suited up for the event, Rahman opted for a maroon bandhgala kurta and pants.

Apart from Rahman and Vikas, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of several states were present at the banquet dinner. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were received at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Kovind and his wife Savita Kovind. The US President's daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner also attended.

An elaborate spread including preparations such as Dal Raisina, Zarkhez Zameen, Raan-Ali-Shaan and Hazelnut Apple Pie with Salty Caramel Sauce, was a part of the menu.

Trump, while addressing the banquet, said that he spent "tremendous two days" in India. "It was very special two days. I love India, I respect Indians. We will be back, we will be back," Trump said at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

After their two-day trip in India, Donald Trump departed for the US following their banquet dinner at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
