Senior citizen dies after fall from tree at Bantwal

MANGALURU: A senior citizen died after accidentally falling from a tree at Ajikala in Bantwal taluk on Tuesday. Police said the victim is Koragappa, 65, a resident of Kanakapade.
When Koragappa was trimming tree branches, he accidentally slipped and fell down. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
A case has been registered at the Bantwal town police station in this regard.
