Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student, Sharjeel Imam was sent to 4-days custody of Assam Police on February 24. Sharjeel was produced at Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court today. A case has been registered against Sharjeel for alleged seditious comments on cutting off Assam from India. He was produced before court after his earlier 4-day custody got over.
