Sundar Nagar office burgled

Ludhiana: Burglars struck at the office of an LIC agent and escaped with Rs 3 lakh in Sundar Nagar early on Sunday.
LIC agent Sunil Kumar, 45, said in his police complainant, “I had closed my office around 9pm Saturday. On Sunday morning, I received a call from a resident of Sundar Nagar that the shutter locks of my office were broken. I rushed to the spot and found Rs 3 lakh stolen from the cash drawer. Even as CCTVs are installed in my office, the burglars had disconnected those on gaining entry.”
Daresi police station SHO inspector Vijay Kumar said, “We are scanning the footage of CCTVs installed in and around the area to trace the accused. A complaint has been lodged.”
