The Vietnam Tourism Board opted for London as the location for its first overseas representative office for bringing Vietnam’s tourism assets more close to the UK travelers, for assisting with trip inspiration and for encouraging more UK travellers to visit Vietnam.
More than 250 dignitaries attended the evening hosted by Le Quang Tung, deputy minister of The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Kate White, director of Asia Pacific at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
More than 315,000 British visitors visited Vietnam last year, going up almost 6% from the year before. For increasing these numbers, the tourism board recently launched the brand campaign, VietnamNOW, for celebrating and showcasing the country’s remarkable tourism offerings.
