ALLAHABAD: A bus collided with a speeding truck leaving at least 25 passengers injured near Harisenganj on Allahabad-Pratapgarh highway, under
Mauaima police station, late on Sunday night.

Satyarth Anirudh Pankaj said the accident occurred between 12.30am and 1am ( Sunday night). The bus was carrying at least 45 passengers and collided with the truck while overtaking the other vehicle.
Police said most of the injured passengers were from
Andhra Pradesh. The bus was on it way to Assam from Andhra Pradesh.
"Ten passengers were administered first aid at the nearby thana and the remaining 15 were sent to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital for treatment," the SSP added.
Of the 15 passengers, 13 were discharged later and two others are still undergoing treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable.
