Andhra Pradesh: Man stabs son to death in fight over rooster in Vizianagaram district

VISAKHAPATNAM: A 50-year-old man murdered his son over a dead rooster at Boddidi village under GL Puram Mandal in Vizianagaram district on Sunday.
Police said Addakula Kanta Rao took his rooster to the nearby pond for giving a bath but the rooster drowned. Kanta Rao’s son Majjiswara Rao had a heated argument with his father over the incident.
The police said Kanta got angry when his son questioned him and stabbed his son with a knife near the pond.
Although the neighbours took Majjiswara to the nearby government hospital for treatment but he was declared brought dead.
The police have taken the accused Kanta Rao into custody.
