Ahmedabad: 13 routes blocked from 8am till 'Namaste Trump' event is over

Ahmedabad police commissioner Ashish Bhatia on Sunday issued a notification that seven more routes will be closed from 8am on Monday till the Namaste Trump event is completed. With this, total 13 road stretches will remain closed on Monday.
For the closed stretch — Airport Circle, Camp Road, Shahibaug Dafnala, Picnic House, Shilalekh Tower Crossroads, Subhash Bridge Circle, Sabarmati Ashram and Vadaj Crematorium — the alternative route will be Sardar Patel Smarak in Shahibaug towards Civil Hospital in Asarva, Ghevar Circle and Namaste Circle in Shahibaug.

For another closed stretch — Riverfront East police station to Shahibaug Dafnala — the alternative will be from Riverfront East police station towards Madhavpura and Dadhichi Bridge.
The road stretch Prabodh Raval Circle, Subhash Bridge Circle and Shilalekh Tower Crossroads along with a lane between the Central School in Shahibaug and Shilalekh Circle will remain closed during the event. Another stretch between Vadaj Circle to Sabarmati Ashram and Subhash Bridge will be closed. Similarly, a route between Torrent Power House towards Keshavnagar and Subhash Bridge Circle will be closed. The route Ranip Police Line, Sabarmati Central Jail to Subhash Bridge Circle will be closed. People can take Ranip Police Line, Ranip village and Ranip T-Junction road.
Earlier on Saturday, it was announced that the stretches between Torrent Power House and Zundal Circle and from Power House Circle to Tapovan Circle will remain blocked. People can take alternative route from Power House Circle towards ONGC Road.
A road between Janpath T-junction and Motera T-junction will be closed. The roads between New CG Road, Sangath Mall and Motera stadium, between Koteshwar T-junction and Krupa Residency, between Devarsh Flats and the Club House in Motera and from Bhat Circle to Koteshwar Crossroads will remain closed.
The road between Noble T junction, Indira Bridge Circle and Airport Circle will also be closed.
