Changing times

The 8th edition of annual flagship management event Mangalya, organised by P E Society’s Modern Institute of Business Management (MIBM), will be held at their Shivajinagar campus on February 25 and 26. The fest will showcase 10+ variety of games.
 
Pune, which was earlier known as Punawadi, has successfully established itself as the Oxford of the East. Besides educational institutes, IT companies, the hospitality sector and other businesses have grown exponentially over the years, making Pune a popular city in India.
 
The transformation from ‘Punawadi to Pune’ has witnessed various events where proper management has played a crucial role in its development. Pune has now come into limelight as one of the most rapidly expanding cities and has also been chosen among the first few for ‘Smart City’ development.
 
In this context, MIBM, has chosen the theme of ‘Punawadi to Pune’, to share knowledge about the rich culture of Pune with students from various institutions, and at the same time has welcomed them to showcase their ideas about modern Pune. 

Students from various graduate/ undergraduate colleges, especially B-Schools, will be participating in the fest where they will showcase their knowledge and skills. 

Other than exhibits, the organisers have planned interesting activities such as management games (Case study, AD MAD) and sports activities (Box Cricket , Badminton) and fun games (One Min Game, Ludo, Pubg). The winners from each game will get attractive cash prizes and certificates, and the college with maximum participation will get a rolling trophy.
