Target has issued an urgent recall for a popular bed accessory for children over safety fears.
Parents across Australia have been urged to stop using the retailer's safety bed rail amid fears the fabric could rip and suffocate the child.
Bed rails are used for young children to reduce the risk of falling from the bed.
The retail giant said there was a defect with the seam of its product - which it has been selling for three years - meaning the fabric can tear easily.

'Risk of fall or entanglement if the fabric tears, resulting in a possible injury,' Target said.
Customers with the model number S1602 can return the item to the store for a full refund.
A receipt is not required to obtain a refund, it said.
The item has been sold across Australia between July 2017 and February 2020.
Last week, Target Australia recalled The Fabulous Food Company Jersey Caramels 200g sold in their stores nationally between 1 August 2018 to 13 February 2020 over fears of plastic contamination.
