After Delhi, AAP sets eyes on Uttar Pradesh

AAP MP Sanjay Singh during the roadshow in Lucknow
LUCKNOW: After its emphatic return in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party has now turned focus on UP. AAP MP Sanjay Singh said the party will contest the next district panchayat elections in the state.
Singh, who took out a ‘victory roadshow’ from Charbagh till Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, said AAP will set foot in UP by visiting 1.07 lakh villages in the next three months and after doing a survey of people’s problems across the state, give feedback to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
There is no law and order in UP, nobody pays heed to farmer issues and youth is wary. Communal and caste politics is not what people here want and we will be focusing on farmers issues as priority,” Singh said.
