Lucknow: Tanker mows down 30-year-old in Chinhat

LUCKNOW: Two persons died in separate road accidents in Chinhat and Banthra areas on Sunday. According to police, a man, Atikur Rehman (30) , was hit by a speeding tanker in Chinhat around 11.30am on Sunday.
Rehman was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where he was pronounced brought dead. Police seized the tanker which was abandoned by its driver when people chased him. SHO (Chinhat) Sachin Singh said efforts were on to identify the driver.
In Banthra, Rahul (30) of Bhagu Kheda was hit by a truck near Khatola village in Mohanlalganj. Rahul was going on Junabganj Bhagu Kheda road on a motorcycle when the incident took place.
