A mother has praised an Aldi cashier for his random act of kindness extended to her autistic son.
Sydney woman Melissa posted in the Aldi Mums Facebook group to tell of her experience at the supermarket's Seven Hills store with her son, Henry.
The three-year-old's condition impairs his ability to communicate and can effect his behaviour in public places.
'Had to do a shop with my three-year-old autistic son the other day,' Melissa's post reads.

Melissa's Facebook post highlighting the patience of a male cashier who made her shopping experience easy
'My kiddo was doing really well, but getting a bit to the end of his rope by the time we got to the checkout.'
Melissa said the cashier was patient and understanding, even when Henry ran off and she had to chase him around the store.
'He could see I was juggling my son, encouraging him: "Just stand right there buddy, we are almost finished",' her post continues.
'When I apologised he said “That’s OK, I will pause as much as you need.”'
Melissa praised the rest of the Aldi staff who helped and the customers waiting in line behind for for their patience in the queue.
'None of them were even aware of my son’s challenges and how hard we were both working to get thru the shop,' she wrote.
'They were all just being kind and patient to a complete stranger.
'It made our experience so much easier and more relaxed than it potentially could have been.'
Melissa's post drew dozens of supportive comments, with many looking to find the helpful cashier to give him the acclaim he deserved.
'You should tell the store manager so this employee can get some praise,' one comment reads.
'Do you have time to send this to Aldi Head office? This young man needs to be recognised!' another post says.
