Liverpool edged ever closer to a maiden Premier League title on Monday night with a come-from-behind win over West Ham United.
Jurgen Klopp’s side regained their 22 point advantage at the top of the standings following the 3-2 win over the Hammers.
Here Ian Doyle casts his eye over the Reds’ display.
Alisson Becker
Will think he could have done better with West Ham’s first, but alert to stop Antonio threatening after Gomez mistake. Excellent save late on to deny Bowen. 7
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Excellent cross for the opener and close with one drive across the face and a free-kick. Didn’t give up on the ball to assist the third. Easily Liverpool’s best player. 8
Joe Gomez
Got away with one mistake that let in Antonio and didn’t have it easy against the Hammers pest. Lost his marker for both goals, but contributed to the winner with his mis-hit shot. A real learning experience for the youngster. 5
Virgil van Dijk
Stepped out of the backline on occasion and headed one effort against the crossbar first half. Composed after the break and won some vital headers. 7
Andy Robertson
Plenty of ball going forward but West Ham did well first half to negate his threat. Continued to find space and assisted Salah for the second. 7
Fabinho
Little mopping up required in first half-hour until he began to hit his stride approaching half-time. Better second half, similar to many of his team-mates. 7

Gini Wijnaldum
Took his header well for the first goal but other than some attacking glimpses, was too often on periphery first half. Successfully injected some urgency during the second period. 7
Naby Keita
More promise than end product, although the Guinean saw enough of the ball. No improvement after the break saw him replaced. 5
Mohamed Salah
Forced Fabianksi into good save from range first half but lost possession too often. Closely marked again, however found enough room to net equaliser thanks to howler from Fabianski. 6
Roberto Firmino
Good tee up for Alexander-Arnold before break, however his best work was defensively. Missed two good chances after the break but was a bit unlucky to hit the post from about a yard. 6

Sadio Mane
One or two trademark bursts – one shot deflected wide – but couldn’t really get going first half. Improved markedly after the break, and netted the all-important third. 7
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (for Keita 57)
Shot wide with one effort from range and brought more urgency. 6
Joel Matip (for Mane 90+1)
