Everyone wishes to have a clean and organized closet. If you have a de-cluttered closet, everything will be easier to find. If you're finding trouble organising your clothes, try some of our hacks to make most of your space. One of the biggest reasons of a cluttered closet is disorganised shopping. If you pay more attention to the way you shop and what you shop, you can control the things piling up in your closet adding to the mess. Follow these four helpful tips to keep your closet organised:
Need or
want?
Control your desires. Always think before buying, whether you actually need that new dress or accessory, or just want it because you find it pretty. Giving it a thought before buying will save you from purchasing unnecessary things that crowd your closet.
Fight sales
If it’s on sale, it doesn’t mean you need to buy it. Don’t go bonkers the moment you see the word SALE. Giving in to every whim makes you end up buying some of the stupidest stuff that you are likely to regret later.
Cleanse
There are countless pieces lying hidden in a corner of your closet which you tend to ignore. A reason why you should consider doing a cleanse of your wardrobe more often than you do – all to get rid of things you haven’t used for a while.
Don’t use only one shelf
The first day we arrange our closet, it looks absolutely gold. It stays like that for three days! Before you know it you mix things up and start dumping your clothes unfolded. Designate each shelf for different things. Shorts and skirts on one shelf, shirts and tops on another, ethnic wear on one and then your everyday dresses in one, and of course your party dresses would need a special designated shelf. And when you start wearing them, try to stick to this demarcation. Put it back on the same shelf after wash. What also helps are closet organisers in varied sizes.
